The first step in any project is to develop a concept. Your vision and ideas will drive our design direction and scope. This process should be fun and have no boundaries... we are designing a sign for a yacht! What could be more fun?
Our in-house design team members are experts at bringing your idea to life. If you are struggling to nail down exactly what you want, our staff is available for virtual or on-site meeting to explore material options, finishes, and scale.
Once these decisions are made, we begin to focus on the scale and technical aspects of the sign, giving thought to aesthetics, lighting methods, and real estate requirements for install.

The second part of the design phase is the artwork. This is where we begin to put together the orientation and layout with all required elements in place. At this point, we can produce a rough proof so that we can make any changes before the project goes into production.
With an approved design, your project will move into the production phase.
Our In-house production team will utilize cnc routing, lasers, and waterjet technology to reproduce your design down to the millimeter. Once the parts have all been cut, your sign will go to assembly and finishing. This entire process is done by hand and allows us to ensure the integrity of the build is in place and that nothing leaves the shop without meeting our expectation.

Start with a great design and the best materials. Form materials using the best machinery you can find, Set a high standard for assembly and finishing. If you see an imperfection, fix it! Then, check it again.
Once complete, ship the product!

Given the face of business this day and time, scheduling is often problematic. However, since the entire production process occurs in-house, we are very flexible on our time frames.
We typically advise of lead times once the design proof has been signed and released for production. However, if you have a tight timeline, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
Shark Fin Marine offers professional installation services through our factory technicians as well as our dealer network. These guys bring a boat load of knowledge to the table and get the job done right the first time.
We also understand that many of our cleints have trusted marine contractors they prefer to use. In those cases, we are happy to work with them to produce the sign they require and support them remotely in any capactiy required.
